Plug check

I want to do a plug check at the end of my run. If I kill the engine as I go thru the traps and coast off the track will the coasting do any harm to my drivetrain?

Thanks Tore

Letting it slow down a bunch and then putting it in neutral will work fine for a plug check...it's the pump shot and part throttle on the return road that mostly alters the reading .

Don't kick it into neutral Tore, just click it off. My buddy Todd did that last weekend with his 'glide and the cable stretch or adjustment was off just enough and it grabbed reverse at 146mph. Locked up the tires and spun him into the wall. He was fine, but messed his car up good! I guess it has happened to many people in the past as well. I will never do it after seeing that.
