Another food thread...tried smoked meatloaf

Turned out pretty good, I used Apricot chips for two hours at around 275* (hot as my Old Smokey would go). It was a touch too "smokey" but otherwise very nice. Surprisingly, it hit 190* internal temp in that time, I didn't catch it as I went for a short walk with the dogs. Didn't seem to hurt it too bad, a touch overdone but still good. Consists of a little over a pound of lean ground beef, pound of ground venison, and a pound of venison sausage (sage and hot peppers).

Definitely something to keep trying.

If you like new things I should send you some of my Ukrainian and Uzbek recipes.

That sure looks better than moms meatloaf!

It has to be good if it has bacon in it.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid-in-sideways, totally worn out, shouting.."holy crap.... what a ride!"

Holy Hell!!! I've been researching more stuff on the smoker and I'm seeing a lot of stuff like this. I don't know what to think, my mind says "yes" but my body says "no"!!

I see no reason why not to try one though
