looking for distributors, 1970 style

Does anyone make a 351-C/ 429 distributor that uses the older socket style cap. We're building some Boss 9 crate engines and would like to have an original looking dist. for them. I don't want to use junkyard stuff. Is there any source for them? Ford Motorsport used to sell them, but not now. A big style cap just looks wrong on these engines. ..... Kaase

Jon, I'm sure you know this but a socket cap will fit on the newer Ford distributors. Are the newer ones getting hard to find as well?

What about finding a windsor dizzy and just swap the gear? I have the MSD cap-a-dapt from an old windsor motor I had and just put the 460 geat on. Works like a charm.

Scummit has some socket type caps...in FORD BLUE!! I've got 2 or 3 on the shelf for "projects".

Some people can break a cannon ball, in a sand box, with their bare hands.
