Jim and I talked a week ago about the program. They are simply using national event conditions to do some testing, but are using the old engines. The new power plants will not be ready for a while, however they should prove out fairly quickly once everything is complete. Erica did a good job, and I know she was really looking forward to it, but I know her and Jim are really excited for next year.
Jim is a really good guy, and a REAL Ford Fanatic and supporter! He is working really hard to help out. There are some guys involved with the engine program like Moes Nolan (Ford Racing) who are top notch and I can't wait to see what they can do on the new wedge stuff!
Give them some time...! I am not debuting the new body for my car until next year. We will do some private testing, but we will not take the car out this year for competition, just because we want to have the bugs sorted out. Trust me, the Ford boys will start stompin again next year in both sanctioning bodies
