I think Holman and Moody did the first motor that year then maurice changed things in the motor to make it run faster.

I was just curious about that,I've never seen any facts about that year,and I dont really see the normal H&M on the side.

One story that I have heard about Petty back in those days was when the Chrysler hemi was legislated out of competition that Petty used a whole big bunch of used hemi parts, blocks, heads, cranks etc as landfill for a new building they were constructing! I don't know what they did with their used Ford parts....

Now if that's right who knows

In 1969 they didn't show racing in Germany were I lived.So I didn't get to see the cars then.
