Thanks,
for his last name also he goes by The delaware destroyer

I should know it by now raced him many times hell getting spotted by the small block.

Most times I had the fastest car at a race till he pulled in.LOL

Man I remember him with the 23 Tbucket I think about 1983 or 84.

Sorry to hijack this tread .

Well the Northeast Division Finals was awesome i now know why all my friends run for points every year it was my first time at bracket finals we stayed in the rv for 4 nites we got there wednesday and left sunday what a giant party it was im hooked now for sure and i'm glad they had tire dealers there because the slicks had cords showing on the inside edge on the drivers side what a shame the holes in the middle were good for a long time (darn Bruno running 9-1/2 pounds of air in them) i wanted to put the MT 28x10.5 stiff walls back on but there was no MT dealer there just good year and hoosier so i went with the hoosier 28x 10.0 because its the same size as the MT 10.5 so far i like the hoosier slick anyway my buddy made it to 2nd round with my car and lost with a .065 lite to a .012 lite but i was right on the dial which was trickey because your time runs are on thursday and friday then you wake up saturday for eliminations put a number on it and go for it our best run was a 10.868 friday morning and saturday morning was colder so i dialed the car 10.84 and it went 10.84 with a 1 the other guy Mike LaRose from Esta saftey park ran a 10.83 on the brakes on a 10.80 dial for the win hes a good racer as he was #2 in points at his track and went to the finals here but lost with a .003 red (ouch) but what a good time we had and all the kool people we met was pricless and Maple Grove raceway is a killer place whats also neat is at the end of the track a public road crosses by and on every run 2 big gates come down to stop traffic because on the other side is more shut down area with saftey nets and a big sand pit which i was told was corn not sand. Even tho i didnt get to race this time it was a joy to see my car there at the division finals so thanks to my good friend Buddy Layfield for takin me up on my offer to race my car here it really made us see what its all about the team spirit from all the teams all the parties all the food all the killer cars and people i'm gonna be runnin for points from now on thats for sure
