Flowmaster Question

Anyone ever had a flowmaster muffler come apart on the inside? Evidently the weld's that hold the baffles in broke and the thing was rattleing like crazy. It's 5 year's old, but only has 1000 mile's on it.

very possible, condensation probably did the welds in... it'll probably start rusting from the inside out... very little use on something is worse than using it everyday in most cases...

Freak, I had the same problem a couple years ago. Flowmaster 40 series ONLY year and a half old rusted out from the inside. I heard some exhaust noise and noticed several little pin holes, took the muffler off and rattled from the inside. I contacted Blowmaster and they would not warranty them because they were over a year old. I now run Dynomax bullets and am very pleased!
