LM-2 Tuners

Guy's looking at this tuner and was wondering if anybody has used them and what the good VR's bad

I have not used the LM-2, I have the older LM-1 model. I've been happy with mine and all I've ever had to do was replace the sensor a couple of times over the several years that I've owned it.

A friend of mine has one on his race engine. BBC on gas. Works great. Makes it easy to get the tune just where the weather wants it.

It's not in the immediate budget for my new engine build, but I want one in the future. When I get my headers built in the next few weeks I'm going to get him to add a couple of 18mm bungs for the the O2 sensors. Easy and cheap to add them now before the headers get coated.

Well the reason I'm looking in to this is I will now have 3 cars to tune and been wanting to make a switch to E85 for practical reasons on all three cars. The guy that will be doing the conversion is dead set on these as you really need to know your tune for what direction you really need to take it. I'm looking at having the bungs welded on all three set so I can move it around between cars to get them dialed in. How easy is it to learn ? i'm pretty slow at this some times so just looking at the pro's and con's
