Well my wife stepped up and bought one.....and to be honest she's not that impressed..... YIKES!! Its my fault for not forcing her to take a day and go drive the V6 6sp car that was 3 hours away from us.....
We love the car, were OK with the price and excited with the fuel mileage, but it just feels doggy. Like there's a delay in the gas pedal response? Its bad enough she has only driven it 10 miles and has approved a CAI/Tune right now!
But all my drive-by-wire stuff was like this, so I think it can be improved.....but its pretty disappointing to have spent quite a bit of money and hear her say, "Yeah its OK, I can get used to it"
Part of the issue is her last experience was driving the new 5 liter car. We both know that is very apples to oranges, but we thought the 6 would be just a touch snottier in the lower RPM's. I'm going to do a tune/cold air intake and exhaust (so it sounds faster) all at the same time and then see where we stand.
The flowmaster force II system is pretty mild. I don't want one of those loud V6 cars....
My plan is to get the C&L intake. Also, I emailed Jon Lund to see if he has developed a tune for 3.7 cars with stick. He did the tune for my GT500 and has a personal V6 auto car that is in the mid 13's with basic bolt-ons
