spray paint question

Can you spray laquer spray paint over something that has been painted with Acrylic enamel or will the 2 paints react to each other?
Thanks
Dave

The general rule of thumb is you can put enamal over lacqer but not the other way around. Still, if it's an old paint job and it's had more than a month to cure out, you MIGHT get away with it. Try an out of sight test area.....

LOL yup. If you can get it dried before it lifts completely off.

My boy and I have been building some model cars over the holidays, and the old guy at the hobby shop said: "Remember the girl's name "LEA". I looked at him like he was off his rocker, but then he said; "Lacquer-Enamel-Acrylic". "You can go left to right, but never right to left".
