A question about smallblock timing chain sets

I have to change the cam in a 351-w thats in my 55 sunliner due to the wrong cam installed by the builder and does anyone know if the cam is retarded like on the 460s. Its a mid 80s block and I dont know if it has all mid 80s parts in it.

^Use the short pin if you are using the two piece eccentric and the long pin if using the one piece.

I am going to pull it apart next month, the cam that was put in is for 2500 and up and I wanted idle to 4000 since the car its in is built for the highway not the strip.
