If the car weight and horsepower are right, you'll do a little better than that. Set up plays an important role as well.

Didn't think it was that confusing what I was asking for. I stated what my car does ET wise with hp and weight #s. Just wondered if it was in line aka "running it's potential"

hp to weight calculator says you should be at 9.29 e.t. Ur mph of 138=9.80 on calculator so thats dead on. Maybe u have a lil less hp than u thought.

My car runs 9.80s consistantly, once in a while a high 70. My 60ft times are 1.30to1.33 once in a while high 1.20s, mph is 133-134. It is 2800 lbs & maybe 500-530hp with a 3 speed.

ET

IMO, your car should be running in the low to mid 9.40's @ 142 to 145 mph at 750 hp and at 3000 lbs,

Sorry but the title made no sense to me. Maybe if it was "Is this what I should be running?" I would have got it. But "Am I'm in line" made no sense to me.

At 138mph in 3000lb. your making around 650hp.........750hp will get you 9.2-9.3s if hooked up correctly.

something just ain,t right ! looking at your build and dyno #,s you should very well be mid to low 9,s! but sometimes guy,s it,s not always hp that's stoping him from running the time he should be running! like the great billy gliddon told me face to face one time! you can have to car,s with the same hp one car faster than the other one! why you ask? he told me one of those cars has the suspension setup perfectly for the hp it is making! therefor a faster et from the car with the suspension setup, were it 60ft right and the et to show it! in other words work your suspension hard and get it to 60ft right! should be in the 1.35-1.32 range for a lower et! hope this helps!

I see he is working with Team Z and Tony aka Yellowhorse 7 so I would think the suspension is probably working to it's potential if he is following their advice. May be time for some converter work. Another possibility is the dyno it was run on may have been a happy dyno. I have already been warned it may take 3 or 4 shots to get the converter right on my deal so I imagine that may be his case.

what stall converter do you have? and I see your rear gear is 373! if your going to keep those gears I would really look at my stall. should be in 5200-5500 range with the brake! me iam running 4.30,s with a glide on 29.5x10.5.

I agree, it's a bit slow for the HP and weight. What Trans/converter? C6 will rob a bit... My buddy has a 3rd gen Camaro at 3,000lbs and dyno proven SBC 650fwhp and has gone 9.70s with a stick shift trans.... 100 more HP should be 9.20s-40s...

The car is close. We're gonna try a few tricks next year and it'll run better.
