2017 Ford GT

OK... Have you guys seen this yet? Here is a post that is sure to get people drooling all over their shoes. If there was ever such a thing as car porn this is it!! I do wish it came with a V8 but I'm still not going to complain. Corvette what? Ferrari who? Forget those cars. This thing is mechanical ART!! OK Lem... Let me know when you get one in stock. I'll fly over and trade in my house for one! Sure hope it comes with a built in bathroom!! I'll just drive to a restaurant when I'm hungry!

Garage
I think the reason for the v-6 is a cubic inch limit for the class they propose
to race in at Lemans. Ford is going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the
famous 1,2,3, finish in 1966 by trying to win in 2016.
If the engine runs as good as it did in the 24hrs of Daytona I'd say they have a real good shot at it.

Go Ford!!!!!!

I had not thought about the Le Mans aspect of it. But I think you are on to something. Perhaps take out the Ferrari's (and everybody elese) 50 years later? That would be sweet!

I was thinking the same thing. An aluminium block Boss 9 Kaase motor would be even better!

They may be going for the LeMans win, and I sure hope they achieve their goal. But for the ones that are going to be for sale to the public, I think they screwed up by not offering up a bad azz twin turbo V8 of some sort.....because the bad azz Corvettes will beat them in a dead heat....and thats ALL it takes for the Chevy crowd to rub it in Ford's face and ours as Ford enthusiasts.

As the world turns...I get more dizzy!

No one that can afford this car cares if it comes with a V-8 or if it will outrun a Corvette. If you can right a check for this, the performance level is a $mall option. If you can buy one, it will probably set you back close to $400,000.00, and that's if you have a dealer friend that can actually get one.
