I have a TCI C6 Full Competition trans in my Fairlane, with the Full Manual/Reverse Valve Body, and it has performed practically flawless now for almost 10 years. I show my car no mercy, so it hasn't been spending time in the nursery. The only problem I had, was with the servo gasket splitting on me, due to a slight nick in the irregular casting of the servo, which didn't happen until several years later. I replaced it with the CJ type servo from TCI. I have a huge trans cooler on there, and it never sees over 180 degrees.

Here's the original servo, with the irregular gap and nick in the casting.

Here's the old verse new servo.

Luckily it was a simple DIY job, because I don't know anything about automatic transmissions.
