What pressure to run in slicks?

Their 28x10.5 in a 4200 lb car. Does 10-11 lb sound a bit low?

What name brand? My Hoosiers liked about 12lbs, my M/T's liked 10.

I know people who have ran 8 in M/T's and survived.
