Simple Oil Filter Swap

Well like the old saying goes, change one thing & you got to change everything. Well after reading the discussions on oil filters, I decided to go back to a System 1 filter over the Wix 51515. Mainly because I change oil so much & the Sytem 1 is reusable. Well I figured a simple take the old one off & screw the System 1 to the block. Nope!! Not enough clearance with the steering shaft. So after some looking & a call to Canton, I bought a Canton billet set up. They are really nice pieces. The block adapter rotates & the fittings are parallel to the block. That made it nice getting he lines out of the engine diaper. Plus with dual inlets/outlets, I now have a place to put an oil temp sensor. So what went from $100 change went up alot with the mount kit, hoses, fittings, etc. Oh well I should have known!! LOL!!

No the headers are steel tubing. They have been coated by Jet-Hot. For the money headers cost, it is worth the time & money to have them coated.
