Hey Bob, you need rain, you can have mine!(LOL) Lightning & rain have kicked the power off at least 5 times on my street so far tonight.

Texas weather, feast or famine. Either it's too hot, or too much rain.

We took a pretty good pounding last night in Southlake for about 3 hours. At least my pool filled up...

Rain?

What the hell is rain?

Is that the little droplets of water that fall from the sky? Heard of them, but am beginning to think they are a figment of somebody's imagination.

I think the last time it rained here it was still 2005.

I just got back from Zapata, Tx and it was 108 two days ago. Pretty sweet since the humidity was way lower than it gets in Louisiana.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid-in-sideways, totally worn out, shouting.."holy crap.... what a ride!"

 You guys make me love the northwest even more
We were 65 today and while we have plenty of rain this spring has started out quite good. Sunshine all week and looks great for next week if you can trust the weatherman! :P :P

I'm with you Dave. It was 75 here yesterday, and I was already starting to panic. I don't know how you guys down south can take that heat. My sister in law lives in Phenoix, and I ask her how she puts up with summer. She says it's no big deal - you go from an air conditioned house to an air conditioned car, to an air conditioned airport. (She's a flight attendant for Delta) And I say, yeah, but I'd still know it was out there... ops:

At least it's not humid out there in Abilene.

I lived there in the early 80's... I miss the dry climate, but not the flat landscape.
We used to have to either drive to San Angelo or Dallas to race though.... Legally anyway. It's cool that you guys have a track in Abilene now. I'm going to make it up there some weekend soon.

Falcon, Do you know Bill Bryan by chance?

Hey... Just hope that we don't send the fire-ants your way. You'd rather run over a couple 'dillos a day than try to keep your yard free of fire-ants. :!:
