Vacuum guage

I am putting a vacuum guage on our 545, and I was wandering where the best place is to put the port or if there would be anything wrong with putting it in the fuel pump block off plate. I have trick flow A heads and intake so there are no vacuum ports. Any suggestions? Thanks

I drilled & tapped my intakes lifter valley tray behind the carb pad. Nice & out of the way. Sure don't want to accidently break my Racepak sensor.
