fox body rear suspension help needed

I've been looking at parts made by various companies to change the instant center on a fox body and am confused. All of the kits promise increased traction and harder launches but they all do it differently. Some adjust it by lowering the body side of the upper arm and some do it by raising the upper arm on the rear axle housing, while others do it by lowering the body side of the lower arm. Are there any advantages to one over the other and where should my instant center be on a fox body?

Theoretically the more torque/power you have to work with, the longer/farther out the I.C. will need to be for the car to work efficiently with as little wasted motion (Re: excessive wheel stand) as possible.

It kinda seems to me (I could be wrong) that some of these kits make changes to the stock suspension that hit the suspension & slicks much too hard for a car with power. While a SBF with less usable torque might need a short I.C. to help smack the slicks, some of the kits look to me like they shorten the I.C. too much for a BBF that has big torque.

Because of this, I would look for a kit that gives you as many I.C. choices as possible, more adjustable is "more gooder".

I have Team Z motorsports rear suspension on my car and I am very happy with it. Dave at Team Z has had several BBF cars working well with the stock style suspension. His setup raises and shortens the rear of the upper control arms. www.teamzmotorsports.net is his web site.
