clearance

I am looking at putting a 460 in an 88lx coupe. I have been trying to decide if I should put a street scoop through the hood or get a hood to cover it. Will I still need to put the spacers between the k member and the frame?

i dont have spacer's....just a 4" cowl hood... no air cleaner :?
