Anyone done the 77-79 Tbird brake swap on a '63/64 Galaxie?

I just installed the spindles/rotors/calipers from a '78 LTDII on my '63 Mercury. Now I'm trying to figure out what brake hoses will work easily, and just wanted to see if any guys had found an easy solution.

Is'nt a LTD II a Fox chassis car?? I think you need the ones from the full size, full frame LTD.
Maybe Im mistaken.

As the world turns...I get more dizzy!

Yep, 77-79 the LTDII is a big full frame car.

Ended up just relocating the hose bracket, worked fine.

Hey Chilly....

I used the 78 Tbird spindles on my 66 Galaxie. When I went to get an alignment, he couldn't get the tire in enough at the top. He had to grind out the slot to get the correct camber.
I know the 66 has a different suspension, but just a little heads up in case you run into any alignment issues.

Where's my beer and that half inch wrench?

Hey Jeff -

The '63/64 can have the same issue with the Tbird spindles. Read where a guy had figured out the issue...some of the spindles (nobody knows exactly which years) have the hole for the top balljoint drilled a bit more "inboard" which causes it to have positive camber. Mine appears to be OK right now, but I'll have to wait until it all settles out (new springs) and see how it looks.
