Ford sueing the little guys...

So I was reading that Ford has sent a letter to Mustang Plus telling them to stop using the Mustang in their name and give them $10,000 for damages.

Now call me crazy but if you are not doing to well financially (like Ford and GM are) does it really make sense to go around pissing on all your supporters and potential customers? I have 3 older Fords and I would be a typical Mustang Plus customer. This irritates me when they do chicken crap stunts like this. I could see if they had Ford in their name but Mustang is the name of a horse that has been around long before Ford ever was. I have a 2003 F350 diesel and I just bought a 2006 Mustang GT convertible. Both were overpriced for the value I got in return I feel. Why do I keep buying them? Stupid I guess, or maybe it's like voting for presidents, you are not getting what you want just picking the best of the selection.

They have already canned SVT even though they deny it so what is their whole plan? To sell cars to american Idol fans???? It is going to be awhile before I buy another new vehicle but it will be interesting to see what it will be when the time comes.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid-in-sideways, totally worn out, shouting.."holy crap.... what a ride!"

Maybe thier next move will be to threaten and sue the US army for using the name Rangers for one of the army groups. Oh and BTW you can issue them your check in advance for using ford in your screen name.

What do you think that Super FOrd Magazine is going to do? Not only do they use the "Ford" name, but the only other words that they know are "MUSTANG" and "5.0"!!!!!! Because of this they lost my subscription years ago. And by the way there is nothing wrong with either of them. As long as the Stang has a 429, and is at least 36 years old, and the 5.0 is the one behind you!

I hope they don't sue me since my last name is ford. When our new baby is born we are naming it either Shelby Ford, or Gregory Thomas Ford that way we can call him G.T Ford. My letter must be in the mail already.
