Hay it stayed together!!!!

I finally got to the dyno today and the good news is it ran all day
without blowing head gaskets and pistons. Here are the results with the
PROCOMP heads on my engine.

4500 614TQ 526HP
4600 631 552
4700 624 558
4800 615 562
4900 612 571
5000 609 580
5100 610 592
5200 600 594
5300 590 596
5400 588 604
5500 580 608
5600 563 601
5700 553 601
5800 543 600
5900 530 595
6000 518 591

I am very happy with my home ported procomp heads on my engine and the very flat power band it has with the average torque of 616 and 563 hp.

4.3 stroke 4.420 bore procomp 95cc heads with 2.19 and 1.76 valves ported with 10.8 ish comp, victor intake with a 850 demon carb, a custom flat tappet with 256 and 260 dur. at .050, 659 and 660 lift .007 lash intake on a 109 with a 111 sep. and 1 7/8 headers it was dynoed with 110blue gas I believe it would have made more with a good premium or blend but we didn't whant to risk undetectable detenation in the dyno room but the engine is still on the dyno so I may pull it again with a 50/ 50 mix of race and premium just to see if it picks up anything. probly will do it in the morning will let it be known how it works I don't think I need any more than 100 octane.

Ill say hooking it should run mid to high 11s without a problem. I guess it has the stock 4.10 gears. Plenty of torque down low so your gonna need some cal-tracs Drag radials should work fine. This is a guess but it should be real close. Good luck.

these are really good numbers for the procomps that a lot of people dont like. But out of curiousity did the lightning still have the s/c 5.4 in it? .
