Pump Gas 502 build with Dyno results

This engine was built by Randy Malik to be used in my 92 Mustang GT "street brawler". The heads were left over from my previous 472 and were nearly box stock. I wanted the engine to be streetable on pump gas and ready for a future upgrade to SCJ/P51 heads, and with enough durability for future use with a shot of Nitrous.

D0VE-A block bored to 4.39
SRP #154166 pistons w/ additional valve relief for SCJ/P51 heads
(for future upgrade) set .004 in the hole, 10.25 compression
Comp Cams custom solid flat tappet cam 261-268 @ .050, .667-.657 lift,
108 int centerline, 112 lobe separation
FRPP 9 way Cam Gear and Chain
Comp Cams Stainless 1.73 rockers
Scat forged 4.145 stroke crank- massaged by Adney Brown
Scat 6.7" H beam rods
Canton ProPower Fox body pan w/girdle windage tray combo
Kaase oil pump reworked by Randy Malik to fit pan
A-429 heads,70 cc, with mild bowl cleanup,
Manley severe duty 2.245 int. 1.76 exh. valves, stock FRPP springs
FRPP head gaskets
Mr.Gasket intake gaskets
FRPP Victor "jr"
ProSystems Holley 950 HP carb
Autolite 3933 plugs
2" tube dyno headers

I want to thank Randy Malik for building this engine for me. Randy spent alot of time answering my emails while we were planning this build. He is truly a wealth of information, and I thank him for taking the time to explain things to me. I also want to thank both Randy Malik and Vince Impastato for their help and expertise in breaking in, tuning and dynoing my engine. It was my first time on a dyno, and I found it to be well worth the expense and time. 8)
And to everyone else on the forum that have taken the time to answer my posts, THANKS for all the help!

Last minute thrash!

This was what my garage looked like after a 2 week thrash, trying to get my car back together before my vacation was up! This is about as messy as this garage has ever been. Unfortunately, my car still isn't running and the garage is still a mess. Hopefully I'll be able to solve my issues and get it on the road when I return home on vacation in August. This is my first attempt at posting a picture, so I hope it works!

My car is a street strip with a C-6 and 3.73 gears and a street friendly 3700 stall. Last time I had the car weighed it was 3175#, And I've taken some weight out of it since then. I used Feetfirst's build and drag strip results as a reference when we planned my combination. I was looking to go as close to 10.0 as I could without going faster than that since I only have a 6pt rollbar. Feetfirst got his combo into the 9's, I'd be happy if I can get 10.teens! Like Feetfirst, my engine also peaked early around 6100, and I may have to change rear gears to stay within my powerband at the top end.

Hugo: No results yet, I went back to my ship 6/1 and won't be getting off until 8/4 so the car is still sitting in my garage just as in the picture.. As soon as I get home, I'm going to try and move my engine back to the 1" setback holes in my crossmember in order to get some fan combo. My new crossmember is 1.5" lower than my old one and with the drop the angle changed and the water pump snout won't clear the fans! It looks like my headers will be real close but hopefully will fit. With the drop the header tubes are only about 2 3/4" off the ground which i don't like, I'm probably going to crank my coilovers up to get some more clearance. If not, I may have to look into getting someone build a new set of custom headers . I'll post as soon as I get it back on the road.
