Hello,

Im new here and from germany. I like to build for my Ford F1 1950 a big block 429. I have a 460 complete motor.

Bigger is better, Stick with the 460 parts or Consider a stroker kit.

Their is no replacemet for displacement !!!

I know parts aren't the easiest to get over there, especially heavy parts. So, I would have your 460 crankshaft offset ground, (I'm sure there are some good crankshaft machineing places over there), to a 454 Chevrolet size 2.200" throw diameter size at a 4.140" stroke.
Use an I-beam rod from SCAT at 6.700" long and a regular oversize bore forged Piston to match the cylinder head you choose in order to get a correct compression ratio.

That is a good start to a 500+ cubic inch, (8.2 liter), engine...!
