Lots of these heads still on the track. They will make good HP in the right hands.

Got one in one of our mud trucks with a sled pulling and nitrous cam and larger ring gap. Running worked over old school (80s model) fms A heads and intake, 14:1ish compression, and AED customized 1400 dommy. We made 960hp on a very stingy Dyno and a boat load of torque. Think we could've broken 1k with the proper cam for all motor, closed up ring gap, and hooked up the evac hoses. HP and torque curves were unbelievably flat from 4500-7200

I Have a set of the FMS A460's on my "little" 555" motor..
In my old dragster, @1900lbs it went 4.77 @145 , [email protected] 178.
Never had it on the dyno, but it had to make 940-950 based on times..

my set up was close to urs with 1250 qft. I swapped it out for a pro systems 1600 carb and picked up 2 tenths and 200rpm on the converter while on the trans break.
