If you want to make upwards of 700 HP on pump gas with 466", you will have to turn the RPM's up some.

The dish in your forged pistons will not be too deep because the engine will have to be up around 11 to 1 compression to support enough cam too make good power around 6600 RPM's to 6800 RPM's. A custom solid flat tappet camshaft would do the job.

The FRP SCJa's, the TFS 290 Powerport's, or the new AFR's 270's come to mind for your engine. The consideration for these heads come from the weight of the 79 F150. Have the vendor you buy the heads from backcut the valves and pocket port the heads

Sell the Weiand and get a Victor. You need around a 1000 CFM carburator.

As the factory head bolts and the factory main bolts are plenty strong enough to do the job, you are wasting your money on the ARP's.

You will probably need around a 3,000 to 3500 RPM converter depending on the torque curve of the engine and a 4.3 to 1 rear gear.
