RPM Crankshaft

I'm in the planning stages of a 545 build drag motor only. I've been collecting parts and will start putting the motor together this fall when work slows down. I picked up a used RPM cast crank that I had checked out and turned 10/10. My question is the website for RPM rates the crank for 600 horses or less. Crank part #QT 460 4.50 projected horsepower 650 to 700. Has anyone ran into issues with theses cranks. From what I've read the forged cranks hold up well not much info on the cast ones. I don't have a lot in it so it's not going to break my heart to get another crank. I just don't want to whip out my block or heads to save a few bucks.

I think the last couple of lines in your original post say it all.
I personally would want a very solid foundation for a race motor.
700 hp is where you may start, but who knows what mods you will make
down the road to go faster and faster. Would be nice to know the engine foundation
is up to the task, present and future.

Good luck!

Best to sell that crank and buy a forged one.....................At $820 the lunati looks a good fit for your combo!!
