460 heads d3ve to d0ve questions

I have a 73 torino with a 78 460 out of a Ltd. What kind of power gains hp wise and compression would a set of d0ve heads do for me over the factory d3ve heads?

Depending on how far down below deck the pistons are, compression will be raised around a full point. Swapping the heads will not in and of itself give you much of a noticeable power increase. The gains come from the camshaft upgrade options that the increased compression affords you.

Okay well if you have any suggestions of a 400 hp build I'm open to suggestions. Only changes that I know of is it has a edelbrock intake, holley 750 vacuum secondary, said he had a cam put in it one step above stock but no idea what the specs are for it or if they changed the timing chain with it.
