driveshaft

looking for a driveshaft for a 66 fairlane with a 460 in any body got 1 let me know thanks bart

In case you don't find one, I'll measure mine for you if you have to get one made up. I had a 460/C6 combo, but I'm going with a 4-speed with the engine swap. The back of the block to the end of the tailshaft on the top loader and C6 are the same, so I lucked out. I'll post back later tonight, after I'm done tinkering with the car. 8)

The driveshaft length is 54 1/2" from center to center. Mine is 3 1/2" inches around, not the 4" I thought. I had mine made up by a guy here in Jersey. It cost me $400 for everything, including the front yoke, new u-joints, and balancing. I'm so glad everything will work on the 4-speed, because that saved me some $'s. 8)
