Does anyone know of a stud kit for a 460 front motor plate ? If not,
what does everyone use who runs a motor plate?

Help

Thanks

I use Grade 8 set screws, machine washers, and nice stainless steel nylock nuts (or an aluminum jet nut in some places). You can buy them at any industrial nut/bolt/tool supply store. I use that combination on my valve covers, headers, front motor plate, oil pan, and bellhousing. It makes it so much easier to work on the motor that way...and saves the cost of a true stud.

You talking about the bolts that secure the waterpump and engine plate to the block/timing chain cover? I just used regular stainless bolts (allen head) and installed two studs in the center of the timing chain cover, works great!!

Engine plate to chassis, I use grade 8 bolts.
