parts

Whew. You are asking for a lot. Have you seen the prices for a 71 CJ/SCJ? I saw an add in Ohio for a 71 SCJ a few months ago. This car was an absolutely trashed out. Had lots of missing engine parts + the guy still wanted $15K for it.
I've got a 71 Mach 351C in my shop, that I'm having a difficult time finding the money to fix it up. (No, I'm not selling it. I've owned it since I was 18 + I'm 44 now. I worked 80-100 hours a week to buy it.) Parts costs are outta sight. If you can find parts!
Good luck. + Happy hunting, firewoodtruck

These are the only pictures I have .. these are when it was still running .. its the same as then just no engine or trans... its still a roller with working brakes .. lights ect ... If I get a decent offer I will go and pull it out of the garage and clean it up .. send more pictures of the frame ect... Its rust free .. all the floors are solid along with the frame... and doors cowl... no rust on this car .. been in southern cali forever .. I bought from the first owner .. has clear title. Thanks Tyler

SORRY the quality is horrible.. these are pictures of pictures.... I will take detailed pictures of whatever you want if the offer is good!!!

numbers

Dont know the numbers but a BB coupe was fairly rare, most C or J code cars were fastbacks and Mach 1's - only in 71 could you get a 429 motor

if you get to the point of installing the motor I believe Crites Restoration sells the mounts - but stock 302 lowers with 70 torino motor uppers bolts right in - but i believe the torino part is no longer available

rest of the stuff like radiator you can use Tbird shroud etc

I do not want to insult your knowledge but based on what you have said, I understand that you are trying to get body parts.

As one who recently installed a "LIMA" (472") motor in a 1973 Grande, I can assure you that the body parts for the 1971 - 1973 Mustangs are readily available from numerous Mustang Parts houses, i.e. "Mustang Plus", "Mustang Unlimited", "Texas Mustang", "Virginia Mustang, "National Parts Depot" - - to name just a few. The only item that is apparently not avavailable "New" is the '73 front bumper which is different from the '71 and '72.

While you did not ask about motor fitment, it should be noted that since the 429 came in the 71, new replacement suspension suspension parts are also readily available.

Let's face it, the 1971 - 1073 Mustangs were MADE for the 429/460 motor. My next project is a 545 for my '73 MACH I which currently has a '70 428CJ. I built the Grande to get experience for the MACH I project. This was all done before I found this site. Based on what I have learned on this forum over the last couple of months, the 545 installation is going to be AWESOME.

The best of luck with your build.

BT

Do the right thing!

I built my first '71 with a 385 series engine in '79. Basically it is an easy bolt in. I have a set of mounts in storage I might sell if you need them. I run a '71 now with a 466 & has been in the 10's N/A & now is getting a 545. No reason to look for a rare car, cheaper to just build one.

parts

[looking for an origional bb ford 71-73 mustang coupe parts car. will pay good money for a good roller.]

I think most of us take inquiries regarding "original parts" as someone who is either interested in a resto car, or someone who is trying to stay as correct as possible to "original intent".
I think these threads have followed the intent of the post + answered some other unasked questions.
Ya'll have a Great Day.

I have both headlight assemblies complete but the only grille I have is for my race car unless you want a '72 grille, it is standard. Email me at [email protected]
