I've got one but you have to buy the pickup its under. LOL I posted my 79 S/C here and got a few replies, but I still have the title in my name. KP60 with new 4.11s only thing not replaced on it were the axle shafts and KPs. Darn jeep boys have sucked em all up around here.

I think its way overkill for the jeep rock crawlers to be using the D60's. What a waste.

That's what I thought too until I saw what a buddy of mine did with his this weekend. He's got 44 boggers and a 14 bolt rear with d60 steering knuckles in the rear with a chevy pattern 60 in the front. I crapped myself just watching. He laid that thing every which way and climbed a sheer face twisted up like a pretzel and walked right up. Any other front axle would have busted like a toothpick. Double t/c and 5.13 rear gears. He needs those big axle shafts. Still a shame they take all of our good parts and drive the prices up like that.

I dont know if they will bolt right up withought making your own mounts.. There full width. Came from a super duty. I am sure they would be plenty wide enough. The rear is a monster. Plenty of strength there. Buckinbronco doesnt have ANY money. Unless you want to trade him your truck for his old cop car he will not be able to get your truck. I think he wants me to give him MY axles so he can trade you for your truck......

Unless the front is from an F350 dually I dont think it is a 60, I may be wrong here but all of the SDs I have had 3 total were a strange d50 with I believe 60 knuckles and unit bearing outers. Don't take this for the gospel truth though. You never know what Ford might do. The axles are brutal strong irregardless I have seen some stuff that would make you cry done to those things.

It was a single rear truck. I puled one of the axle shafts out and counted the inner splines before I bought it. It is a D60.

Like I said not the gospel truth because you never know what ford may do. Does it have 60 cast into the center section gusset? I'm curious because these axles are better than most people would care to admit. One little aside here though the wheel stud patern is a metric deal and regular 8 x 6.5 wheels wont go on them you have to have the sd wheels.

This is really suckin. I wanted to put in a married transfer case in my pullin truck because I kept breaking the weanie driveshaft that Ford puts in between an un-married transfer case and transmission. Then a steep driveshaft angle resulting from doing that. So now I need a high-pinion axle. With that comes having to buy new wheels and tires. Just because Ford uses car u-joints in thier Ford"Built-Tuff"trucks ha-ha.
