I've received a few emails and PM's regarding this engine. While I'm responding to each of them individually, this email will go over the same information.
I forgot to put a price
. I'm asking $3,200.
--The engine has a stock crank that's been turned 10/10 (it may be 10/20).
--It has a 4.390 bore (0.030" over stock) in a stock block. This calculates to a ~466 cid
--It has ARP head studs
--The rods & pistons are full floating.
--Yes, the heads are A429...not A460. The Jon Kaase heads replaced the heads that I have on this engine. The heads have port work in the bowls and short-turn. The ports have not been enlarged and are as-cast.
--It has a newer timing chain cover.
--It has a newer (1 year old) aluminum water pump.
--The timing chain cover is held on with studs (not bolts). I done this to make it easier to assemble all the gaskets, motor plate, water pump, etc.
--I used Clevite "H" bearings (they may be the "P"...I'll have to check my receipts).
--I have receipts for ~95% of what I'm saying here.
--Here is a video of the car running 11.92 @ 118 mph. The car has run a best of 11.30 @ 122 mph in my heavy SN95 car.
--Bunch of pictures: http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g6...ang/?start=all
--The engine does not come with: oil pan/pickup tube, distributor, crank pulley, carb, motor plate, or rocker arms.
I think that's it for now. I invite you to ask me questions.
Have a good day!
