1970 Lincoln Mark III project car for sale - Best offer

.
EDIT: Despite what the subject states, I'll consider any reasonable offer. I tried to change the subject text. But, it didn't change in the thread list. I figured I'd try one more time before doing something drastic. I may sell the engine and trans if no one is interested in the whole package.

====================================

For sale is my 1970 Lincoln Mark III.

I'm in the middle of tearing it down. I have all of the take off parts except the carpet. All parts are labeled. I also have the service manuals showing how it goes back together. The interior is completely gutted except for HVAC, pedals, and some electrical (pictures are before interior was removed). One of the brake lines is also cut. So, it will need to be towed.

There is some rust on the firewall where the firewall meets the cowl on the right side. The surrounding area including below it are rust free. The floors and trunk are virtually rust free except for surface rust on the floor under the front driver/passenger feet (it is very solid). The rear quarters are rusty and the exterior has some rust poking through. The rockers, trunk, hood, doors, and front fenders are in great shape. The roof has some rust most of which can be wiped off with my finger. The engine does run but hasn't been started in about a year. The tranny needs some work.

Options:
*auto interior temp control - works (HVAC has been converted to R-134)
*8 track radio - don't know if it works (radio wiring has been cut and 8 track was replaced with aftermarket radio).
*D0VE-C heads (I haven't checked the block yet).

Any reasonable offer will be considered.

It's never worth anywhere near as much in a basket. Even if it didn't run, it was worth a lot more before you took it apart.

But it's a dry heat!

Yeah, I know. But, when considering the time and money it would take to put it back together and getting it running decently, I would lose a lot more than what I am losing now trying to sell it as is. I have a lot more into it than $2000. Cars are rarely an investment anyway. I just don't have the interest in it anymore. I'm tired of people telling me to "pimp" it out or how "pimp" it is.

Classic Detroit Style G-Ride. It does need some Pimp'n out though like DUB's, Monkey Fur and Fuzzy Dice, Oh and don't forget the Curb Feeler's LOL
How much for engine and trans? PM me info please.
