You need to give a little more info on intended use here. Lots of variables to take into account with a camshaft. Are the stock heads ported, unported? Which casting? C/R, and induction/exhaust.

Hydraulic, Solid lifter or roller ... ?

Does it also need to fit under a max lift to clear retainer to guide clearance ... ?

thats the thing guys i know the different variables that goes into finding the "best" camshaft

but.. im just wanting to throw a cheap one in cause im not going to have the car long..

hydr. lifter camshaft? that is nothing extreme, intended for street driven and the occasional drag race.

something that can handle a nice street converter

How cheap are looking for? I have an Isky Super Cam and lifters. 260 or so actual and around .500 or so lift. I don't have the cam card anymore. It is about the same as some of the older muscle car grinds, good low and mid power, and small lift for stock heads. Cam and lifters complete. Make an offer.

Most heads can take .530 lift.

What (casting#) heads do you have?
