Ron's Flying Toilet injection setup

Flying Toilet alcohol injection setup for BBF. Complete unit. Works great! Just going to a bigger engine and need more airflow of a Terminator. This unit will work great for any engine 460-572 ci. and 650-950 hp

Currently setup for a 545-557 with .038 nozzle jets. Would work great with a 466 w .035 jets, 501-514 with .036, 532 with .037. Jet's are available from Ron's.

4.10" size. Complete with nozzles, lines, assortment of main jet pills, crank drive mandrel for BBF, pump brackets for BBF and pulley's for BBF, billet filter and a spare gilmer belt. Throttle body is the newer style with internal return spring, machined for air filter mount and has slotted mounting holes so it will work on both a 4150 or 4500 style intake. The only thing you would need to buy is a fuel shutoff cable. I'm keeping my cable, but it's dragster length anyway. Different lengths are available depending on your needs.

2 fuel pumps.
0 1/2 "gold" less than 120 passes since freshened by Ron's
0 1/2 billet, bought as a spare, less than 10 passes on it.
Fuel pumps are for 650-950 hp
pump info:
http://www.ronsfuel.com/gold_vane.cfm

Primer Plus gas primer plate. Plate only. You supply the small tank and pump and you can start and drive the car on pump gas around the pits, to staging and back up the return road. Works great, gets heat in the engine, keeps the oil clean and cut's alcohol use in 1/2. Info on Primer:
http://www.killerrons.com/primer.cfm

Prices of these items if bought new:
Toilet: $1755
Spare billet fuel pump: $270
Primer Plus Plate: $210
Spare belt $20
Total of $2255

I'll sell it all for $1450 shipped in the US. Send me a private message and I will reply with phone # if you want more info/details. Or you can send to my direct email at
[email protected]

Everything in the pics except the intake and red anodized dragster scoop/cable mount. Also includes a -10AN billet fuel filter. I can take a pic if needed.

David,
Do you use the flow control valve to regulate the amount of gas for the primer to start it, or do you use it to run the engine on gas on the return road?

The needle valve is used to fine tune the amount gas you need to drive it to staging and back up the return road on pump gas. The Primer Plus still has a nozzle jet in it. It's sized too large on purpose and then the valve cuts it down to only what is needed. Works great.

I hit the fuel pump switch for about 3 seconds then turn it off. Push the alky shutoff knob all the way in for full alky flow. Hit the starter. It will fire and be running on alky. (if it has sat overnight or longer I might have to do the above twice). Once it catches and idles normally on alky I pull the alky shutoff and hit the fuel pump switch for the gas at the same time. On pump gas I set the valve so it has a fast idle about 2K rpm. That's enough to drive around on. You can crack the throttle a little if needed to get to to a max of 2500 rpm. Plenty to drive up the return road.

The Primer Plus cut my alky use from 1 3/4 gallon down to 1 gallon for a round trip. Racing 1/8 mile on a 1/4 track. About 1 mile round trip trailer to trailer. I use a 1 qt jr dragster gas tank for the pump gas. I can make 2 passes on the qt of 93 octane pump gas.

No, Terminator. I just need the extra airflow. The Toilet flows 1800 cfm and will work up to a 572 or so. I'm going a little larger and need the Terminator for it's 2100 cfm. I could just add another Toilet on a tunnel ram, but then I get into the hassles and expense of scoop trays and mounting, would need a new distributor, etc.

A deal is pending for the Toilet setup.

David,

You and Chris got my mind rumbling about converting to alky after the discussion we had at dinner that night.

This is a good deal for someone, just wish I had the cash to scoop it up.
