Cheap Driver 1979 Lincoln Mark V

For sale from lack of storage near Troy PA.(Bradford county)
My father in-law bought this car in 1999 and drove it 9,000 miles that summer. (remember the fuel prices then!?!?!? It was 99 cents for a while here!!)
I always bugged him that he should have gotten a 460 car. Lo and behold a 460 car became avalible the very next summer and this car went into storage.
It is pretty clean overall. The car would be pretty presentable but most of the clear coat on the top side has peeled off... There is some body rust, right behind the passenger front tire and both bottoms of the doors.(we have an excellent condition pass. fender that will go with the car) The underside is surface rust only, no holes, no soft spots. It has the digital radio CB combo and plush cloth interior.(there is some sun fade on the transmissin tunnel) Everything works! Car could be driven. (it is not currently registered or insured, it does need a rear brake line)
I believe we can come up with a set of turbine wheels, forged poished wheels or steel wheels and hub caps. Your choice.
We'd really rather see someone drive this than part it out and scrap it. But it has been hard finding interest in our area.
Specs
1979 Lincoln Mark V
88,000 believed original miles
400/C6
9" with 2.75 gears and Trac-loc
digital radio CB combo
New Radiator and gas tank.
Runs very well
Asking $1100.00 or best offer?

Is there any interest at all?
The price is very flexible!
The dang thing runs and drives great! I'd just hate for such a decent car to rot outside all winter then get cut up and scrapped in the spring......

hehehe.....
Thanks for the offer!
If we part it out, we're keeping the new tank, radiator, rear end, motor/tranny and trim pieces.
We got 300 for the last car we scrapped, so I figure we need at least $750 from this one to let it go as is.
