Going into ARMY - need to sell 466

I know its been a while since I've been on - I've been working lots of overtime trying to pay off some bills and getting in shape for when I leave for the ARMY in January...

Specs can be found in the first post of the topic here:

https://460ford.com/viewtopic.php?t=11911&highlight=

Video of the engine running after cam break-in can be found here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k_FrMSsU2I

I never got the chance to see what this thing could do - I am leaving for the ARMY sometime in January and am trying to liquidate all my stuff. I have well over $6500 in this engine, but I am asking $3k obo at this point. Anyone who wants to can come see it run, but I never got brakes on the truck so it still won't drive. Price includes everything from carb to oil pan - flexplate/valvecovers/aluminum pulleys/everything.

The engine is still in the truck, but I will take it out for whoever is buying it and put it on a pallet. I would greatly prefer local pickup, but as long as the buyer pays all shipping, I'll do whatever I can to ship it to them. We have a forklift and all here at the shop - so if someone comes to get it, it will be on a pallet and I'll just load it up for them.

I have started the motor up at least once a month since I broke the cam in, and changed the oil/coolant a few times so it never got gunked up inside. I did trade my dad his Mallory Unilite distro/Jacobs plug wires for the MSD ProBillet/Ford Racing wires that used to be on this engine - no difference made except in looks.

Any questions, please feel free to email me at [email protected], reply to this post, or give me a shout on my cell anytime at 863-670-5119.

Thanks guys - someone buy this so I don't have to let it sit for years while I'm in the ARMY. If I can't sell it, I'll just have to keep it and rebuild it when I get the time; but I aint giving it away...

Thanks again,
-Matt

replied sir.

I also wanted to add that I may be willing to trade for a streetbike (crotch-rocket) in good condition...I've been thinking about selling my car and just getting a bike to ride until I leave. Actually, I may be looking for a truck w/ a diesel too - I guess if anyone has any trades to offer, let me know. Just thought I'd throw that out there...

Also, If anyone needs anythign else off of my customized 1979 Ford Bronco, please let me know. Just browse around on my cardomain page (first link in above post) and check it out. At this point, it looks like I am going to be getting rid of the whole truck

Already took my safety course - but you aint gonna change my preference on bikes , sorry. Just because I have a fast bike, doesn't mean I have to drive like an idiot though...
