Wanted: Bellhousing 2 connect Lenco 2 BBford

I have a 460 and I have a lenco. but I have nothing to connect the two. The motor has about 1,000 HP in it's current state which I intend to run as is for a year or two then I want to make it streetable. I would like to only buy one clutch set up if I can. I'm in Portland Or. 503-2670232 Ask for Steve

Doug thanks for responding

I have a semi Hemi BB. It's going into a 34 Ford pick up. I built a tubular frame. I'm concerned with the length of the Lenco being a problem but I"m going to give it a try. I have a 514 in a 32 Ford P.U. It really moves with 600HP. It's truly a lot of fun but I"m greedy and I want to see what 1,000Hp feels like. I also need a clutch for the Lenco.

Does your LENCO have a long input shaft, for a clutch disc?

Chuck

It does have a big block input shaft for the Lenco. I assume it's a "long"version as it was running a clutch in the car it came out of. Thanks, Steve

That sounds cool. I'd like to see it. Ya I think the lenco will be a problem in that car. By the time you do the clutch and 3 or 4units it will be loooong. Im build a 29 coupe with a blown 466, BT heads and big input toploader converted to topshift. It should haul azz. 4:10's and Hurst cheater slicks should help it hook-up.

Cole that's a righteous car

Here is a list of what I have. two 29 Ford sedans, one shell one driver. One 34 Ford coupe 5w. It's just a shell in several pieces. one 30 Ford coupe, a shell in pieces. Three 34 ford p.ups. All shells all complete except no boxes. one 32 Ford p.u. It's my driver, it has a 514 Ford 600 hp. one 30 Studebaker coupe shell. one 30 Chevy coupe shell. On the way I hae two more 29 sedans and one 34 Chevy three window coupe. I've got a lot of stuff and not enough years left in me to build it all. It's mainly just bragging material. I have a lot of big ideas but my main goal is to quite building big dollar rides. It's time to go Rat rod. It's just as fun and a Hell of a lot cheaper. I have twenty grand just into my Hemi Ford and Lenco tranny and I bought them both used. I really like the style of your 29. I wish you quick completion. Steve

OK, step 1: Measure the major length(from trans face to end of splines. DO NOT include tip that goes into pilot bearing). step 2: contact bellhousing manufacturers like Browell, Quick Time, and Lakewood to see what they have OR will make(the measurement is the depth of the bellhousing you will need although, some MAY use a spacer on a shorter housing). Good Luck.
