Exclamation Wanted ; 62 Galaxie drip rail trim

I need the stainless drip rail trim for a 2 door hardtop car. It screws on under the window weatherstrippng and is glued also. If anyone knows where I can get a set or knows where there is a set on a junk car, I will pay for your time and effort retreiving it. Just contact me here and I will respond back.

Thanks
Travis

Travis,
Im so sorry I didnt see this sooner. Last week I cut up a 62 hardtop Ive had sitting around for the past couple years for the trunk and floor pans and took the rest to the crusher.

I took a good bit of chrome off of it so its a chance I might have it. If you dont mind give me a call tomorrow and Ill see what we've got.

We've also got a healthy stock pile of 62 stuff if you need anything else. My dad has been tinkering with a 62 XL covertable for a while now and collecting parts.

Did you ever find your trim? We have an old fellow in town that has a ton of NOS stuff. I found him on the internet and here he lives 3 miles away. I went and bought some brand new Ford trim for my 56.

I called Walt twice this week and left a message but he never returned my call. I take it that he does not have what I am looking for. Any other connections guys?

Thanks Travis

There's a ton of Galaxie guys, including me, on fordmuscle.com

Hate to plug another site on this one but there are a lot of guys on 460ford who are also on fordmuscle and can hopefully attest to how much of a resource that site is. Seriously, I mentioned that I needed a trim piece for my 66 Gal and one of the members went out, took it off of his parts car and put it in the mail the next day.

If they don't have it, they can give you good leads.

Guys, I finally landed a nice set after 2 years of looking. Thanks for all the leads.
