WTB; glide

Just seeing if anybody has a power glide setup for a big block? I would prefer one with a converter, sfi bell housing, And a brake. Let me know if you are looking to get rid of something like this please. Thanks.

I'm just looking for a reliable street strip trans, I do alot of street driving and i'm sick of blowing up c4's. My car weighs about 3300 lbs And puts out about 550 horse. I do need about a 3500 stall. I don't need a fancy case or anything as far as thats concerned.

I will have one for sale in the next week or so. I just upgraded to a JW case and 1.80 straight cut gears and am going to sale my old tranny. The one for sale has a BTE 1.76 planetary set, Vasco input shaft, 10 clutch drum, pro-tree transbrake, billet servo, deep aluminum pan, etc. It is currently being freshened but will be available soon. It ran 5.30's in my 3000 lb Mustang for two seasons with no trouble at all. I upgraded my engine big time and it broke the input shaft twice so I decided to upgrade the transmission too. This transmission would be excellent for 1200 horsepower or less. I am asking $1000.00 for the transmission and I will throw in a brand new JW Ultra Bell for a BBF for an additional $285.00.

have a fully built with bradco bolt together and bell for $1800
have same basic trans but with 8in welded convertor for $1200

both have brakes and have been told glide with brake wont last on street driving. Not shure if true or not but said it burns them up. I have been thinking about putting mine on the street so may look into it.
