How does the RPM forged crankshaft compare to a Scat cast crank? What is the better option for a 550 hp pump gas engine?

The RPM forged crank is without question going to be stronger than any cast crank. Generally I suggest forged for anything over 600 HP or 6500 rpm, and it's good insurance below those levels.

The -30cc have Kaase reliefs and the -28cc have OEM reliefs. Forgot to mention that. Rods and cranks are finish machined but, as with any engine, clearnaces need to be checked/set by the builder.

The $1850 price is based on the custom pistons I have in stock. Can substitute +.030 Probe's (-22cc dish) at $1950.00 or +.030 Diamond's (-36cc dish) at $2050.00.
