I thought the L-19 bolt was the upgrade? And the ARP 2000 is standard.

The std bolt is the ARP 8740. The 2000 is an upgrade. The L-19 is an upgrade over the 2000, but has a drawback. The L-19 is slightly stronger than the 2000, but per ARP cannot be used in an engine where it may find moisture. (alky burning engine). The L-19 is not corrosion resistant.

FYI: Scat doesn't offer L19 bolts, Eagle (and some others) do. It's not that you couldn't buy them from Eagle (or someone else) and put them into the rods but they didn't come from Scat with L19's.

So I'd be fairly confident he has 2000's.
