500" BBF EX-514 Headed 91 Octane Drag Race Motor

NEW PRICE!!! $7500 including coated headers for chassis car!!

Pics added below!

This is the motor out of my 56' Ford that I just sold as a roller. I will list all my spares and extra parts soon as well.

$8500 Carb to pan

Here is a link to my other ad where you can see some pics of the build. First ran it in late 2007, rings have about 250 passes on them and the springs and lifters have about a 100.

https://www.460ford.com/forum/showthread.php?t=135733

I have never dynoed the motor but the car weighed 2950 with me in it and went 9.59 @ 142 mph best at sea level. This is leaving the line soft at only 1.36 60' time. Match a converter to this cam and it will pick up quite a bit more.

Motor:
Fresh spring 2008. New springs, lifters and poly locks 2009
Dove-C 4 bolt Cobra jet block .030 over.
A460 style Aluminum heads by Extreme Machine(EX-514).
LA Billet Kryptonite crank 4.125 stroke, BBC rod journals and snout. Double keyed.
6.800" Scat 4340 H-Beam rods with bolt upgrade.(new 2008)
Ross pistons (10:1 compression @ 80cc). (3 extra balanced as well)
Lunati Cam .770/.750 285/295 @ .050.(new 2008)
Milodon Gear drive.
Billet rail fabricated valve cover with 12an on front(very nicely made)
Ford Motorsport A460 Dominator intake (Powdercoated very nice).
Crower stainless rockers.(new 2009)
Garrett machine A460 stud girdle.
Manley valves.(new 2008)
Jeff Johnston billet fab chassis car pan.(holds 17 qts.)
Titan billet alum. oil pump.
Mezeire polished elec. water pump.(new 2008)
Isky Red Zone lifters(new 2009)
ATI SFI balancer
Comp Cams valve springs (new 2009)
Holley 1050 cfm 3 circuit dominator(new style)
HVH Supersucker carb spacer
MSD distributor(locked out and bronze gear)
Taylor race series wires
Nice hi-torque mini starter
TCI SFI flexplate(not the cheap SFI, the good one)

Is this the same motor that had the blower on it?

The pistons, crank, oil pump, main girdle, head stud girdle and oil pan are the only holdovers from the blower motor....and the bare head castings. I had to replace everything else at one time or another....filled block, alum. rods....etc. Good memory!! lol.

Arp main, head and oil pan studs.

Crankshaft is double keyed.

Exhaust ports are studded for easy header installation as well.

Any interest before I start parting it out? It is currently bolted to an A-1 Performance built glide that was just freshened spring 2009. Stock case but all good parts inside. Uses the TCI adapter plate kit which was doubling as a mid plate in my car.

I would make someone a great deal on the combo.

Trans sold! Anybody looking for a stout, low maintenance turn key motor.......carb to pan, dist. included, just drop it in and go. Nice set of tube chassis coated headers and a nice Glide adapter plate/flexplate combo could be included for the right deal.

Anyone?
