533 BBF for sale.

Hey guys things are getting tight and need to free up some cash. So gonna list my engine for sale from my 1970 mustang. The engine will stay in the car until it sells incase someone wants to come and hear it run. I'm not sure what to price this thing at as I have alot of money in it. So to some of the senior guys on the forum constructive criticism is welcome. If things loosen up I'll keep her. If not maybe things will come back around in a year or so and I can put together the 557 a-head motor that I have always wanted in this car.

I would prefer pickup on this motor as I don't really have means to ship. I would be willing to meet within a reasonable driving distance to do the transaction. WIll accept Cash. Other funds will have to clear before releasing motor.

Motor has been together about 5yrs but mostly been sitting in car waiting the rest of the car to get ready to go. Has run 6.52 in 1/8 mile with bad track conditions. Approx 15-20 passes down the track. I feel this motor has a lot more to offer with proper tune and maybe a bit more cam.

bbf 533 long block setup
DIVE block 2 bolt mains
scat 9000 series bottum internal balanced by doug herbert shop
JE forged dish pistons w/ akerly&childs rings . approx 9:8.1 comp
(will run on pump GAS)
FRPP 460 Dominator intake
Jon kaase SCJ heads unported w/ ARP head stud kit
Harland Sharp roller rockers
Jomar stud girdle
melling HV oil pump
canton Hi capacity street/strip front sump oil pan
3/8 push rods
moroso water pump
Crane distributor
FRPP valve covers
Doug Herbert roller cam 660/680 int/exh (I lost the rest of the cam specs)
Herbert roller lifters
Windage tray
roller timing chain
Stock ford timming chain cover
Summit racing balancer
$7000

I'll even include the 2" coated Headers. They come with a standard set of collectors that are coated and never been installed.

Will take partial trades on:
a set of New Trick Flow new style A-460 heads in BBF bolt pattern.

Or eliminator BBF HP Billet or Hp Sportsman new blocks.

Things not included: Carb, Motor plate, plug wires, water neck, vac excape, valve cover breather (but have a motorsports crome vent to replace it), radiator hoses, fuel lines, starter, alternator, crank pulley

I'm sure there are things that I'm missing something.

Feel free to ask any question. You can PM me but would be best to email me at [email protected].

If you want to talk to me directly call my cell phone at 606-306-5260. Thanks guys.

Jason

Thanks for the compliments guys.

The water neck is a peice of machined aluminum threaded with a 90 degree AN elbow.

AKA home made job.

Don't know for sure I haven't had it weighed but I would guess about 3000-3200lbs with me in it. I'm right at 200lbs myself.

If have any more questions please let me know.

Thanks
