1992 Mustang 275 drag radial BBF

1992 Mustang LX. This is not your typical 19 year old fox body!
This car was taken off the street in 1996 with only 18,000 miles
and began its transformation into a street legal drag car.
Unfortunately the original owner ran short of funds and never finished the car.
I bought it as a roller in 1999 and with a lot of help from friends turned it into what it is today.

Engine: John Hauf (former Pro 5.0 NMRA champ) built N/A 521BBF 14:8 compression,
custom bored IDT Ultra block, GRP aluminum rods, JE pistons, Crankshaft Specialties crank,
Motorsport Intake, custom built Pro Systems 1150 Dominator, two 1” BG carb spacers,
Comp Cam roller, Motorsport A460 heads with flow sheets, titanium and stainless valves,
new Manley valve springs, Jomar stud girdle, Comp Cams stainless roller rockers,
Cometic head gaskets, Ford Motorsport valve covers with evac system,
custom build single tube 2 ¼ inch primary tube headers into a 4” collector
with 4” Dynomax bullet mufflers, Canton fox body oil pan, Motor plate and
mid plate, CSI water pump, ATI balancer, March crank pulley, Powermaster alternator
and mini starter.

Ignition: MSD distributor, MSD crank trigger, MSD hvc coil, MSD digital 6 box, MSD 8.5
superconductor wires.

Transmission: Performance Transmission built power glide with brake, 9” Continental
convertor with shield, trans cooler with braided lines, Denny’s driveshaft.

Fuel System: Barry Grant 400 pump and 4 port regulator, braided line from cell to carb,

Brakes: Aerospace four wheel race discs, SVO master cylinder

Rear End: Stock length 8.8, Ultimate rear cover with axle braces, axle tubes welded,
torque boxes reinforced, Moser axles, c-clip eliminators, spool, 430 gear, HPM anti roll bar,
HPM upper and lower control arms.

Chassis etc: 12pt mild steel sportsman roll cage just recertified to 8.50 this month, through
the floor frame connectors, moly k-member and moly shortened a-arms, Strange adjustable
shocks front and rear, front coil over suspension, Flaming River manual rack and battery shut off,
Stroud parachute, Turbo Action Cheetah shifter and command center, Grant Steering wheel,
US Body Source fiberglass hood, Griffin aluminum radiator, two electric cooling fans, Moroso three
quart accumulator, two RSI plastic seats, RSI camlock safety belts.

This car is extremely clean, body is straight and paint in great shape but it does have a few chips to be
expected with any drag car that sees the track.

Car runs consistent 5.90’s in the 1/8 between 118-119mph and has ran a best of 9.25 @ 148mph
with soft 60’ times in the 1.36-1.40 range on 275 Mickey drag radials. Car has never seen NOS! All passes have been N/A. The car is very consistent and won two 1/8 mile 6.0 index events in 2010. All passes (less than 80 total) have been documented and logged into a spreadsheet.
Asking $24,500 If interested or have questions shoot me a PM or call 217-358-1390. Please no tire kickers……..Would consider selling engine/trans seperate from roller. The car is located in central Illinois.
