Cobra Jet Iron heads

Have a set of heads that I will be cleaning up and checking, that I want to sell.
I dont have them at the moment but will have in the next few days.
I believe they are DOOE castings.
I will disassemble and check for any damage/cracks
they will be surfaced and with a fresh Serdi valve job on the seats.

Like to gather some interest so I am posting this now.

As soon as I get the heads I will take pics.

I recieved the heads today and they are in fact DOOER heads, they are in excellent shape, no porting or worn out guides here.
They had the OEM 2.225 intake valves, they will be shot blasted and have a SERDI multiple angle valve job done and resurface the castings.
Bare Heads, no Valves.
I have not looked them over completely, I did remove all springs and valves and checked for loose guides, wich all are still in good condition.
Next I will check all threaded holes and any cracks will be detected if any.

shipping will cost around $120 in the USA
70lbs each not including the boxes minumum shipping weight 150lbs
I will charge an additional $40 for packaging
due to the value of these castings.
I ship UPS because the UPS terminal is walking distance from my shop.

Pictures in the next few days as I finish the work.

Roscoes chili cookoff is getting started in ur neck of the woods, cant make it this time, you been? A biker party with no cops or funny people.

PI heads, what condition, bare?

I will want $500 each head if they are in perfect condition, like I expect them to be.
The heads I have, never have been machined, I know the past 20 year history on these specific heads.

roscoes is about 5min from my house, but ive never been. ive heard it gets pretty wild. theres actually a "car blow" just down the road around christmas time, they get junk cars that run, drain the coolent, whatever oil thats in them stays, they crank them up to let people hear them idle, shut them off, people go bet on how long itll last, crank it back up wide open, time it till it blows. havnt been in a couple years but i wanna go again.

PIs hav had the intakes enlarged to what looks like CJ ports (not by me, got them this way). ive welded up the exhaust floors on all exhaust ports but havnt ported them back out yet. they are bare and will need a little cleaning up before assembly. number D2OE-AB. i got them for a future 545 build but think i want to get a set of CJs for that kind of cubes being an all out race app. im definatly not in a hurry, ive just started slowly gathering parts for that build as theyve become available for the right price.
