Garage
What kind of bore are you working with?

Stock 3.850 stroke x 4.500 bore = 490 CID

4.000 stroke x (+.080) 4.440 bore = 495 CID

4.140 stroke x stock 4.360 bore = 494 CID

Given the RPM, I'd do a stock stroke to keep piston speed down. Some of our lightweight domes in 4.500 bore at $799.95, plus a set of H-beams and a stock crank would be a pretty tough combination for the money, but we could also do either of the other combinations with an offset ground stock crank and some Diamond pistons.
