1963 Ford Fairlane, 2x3 mild steel chassis and cage built by Dale McInturff. Paint is House of Kolor candy brandywine, paint is 10 years old but still very nice. Fiberglass front and doors, Hairy Glass carbon fiber hood scoop, have glass trunk but it's not painted on installed. Struts, and Chris Alston Eliminator 2 4-link, fabricated rear, 35 spline 5:43 with spool, four wheel disc brakes, chromoly driveshaft. Struts, all rear end components, and brakes are Strange Engineering.
Engine is 351c Ford, stock block, crank and rods, Crower roller cam and rockers, Comp one piece pushrods, Speed Pro pistons, JoMar stud girdle, carbon fiber valve covers, Stahl headers, MSD billet dist and 7AL2 ignition, Weiand tunnel ram w/2 660 center squirter carburetors.
Tranmission is a C-4 built by Frank Lupo's Proformance transmission and Dynamic converters in Deleware. Trans is full competition with trans brake, ATI/Winters shifter.
Car was completed in late 2001 and has less than 30 passes on it. If you're looking for a Jerry Bickel type car this is not it but it is a nice, solid race car and receives compliments wherever it goes.
Chassis was recertified to 8.50 in March 2013 and all safety equipment was replaced this spring as well/all SFI tags are current.
Car has gone a best of 9.84 at 136.9 and 60's in the low 1.30's. Hooks hard and goes straight.
